Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Hypd collects, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how you remove it. It covers both this website and Hypd App, the application that connects to Google Search Console and Google Analytics on behalf of site owners who ask us to audit their sites.

Last updated: Applies to Hypd and Hypd App

This is our privacy policy only. Our terms of service are a separate document.

Section 1

Who we are

Hypd is an AI automation agency that has built websites, SEO programs, CRM systems, and content operations for owner-led businesses since 2015. We operate the website at stayhypd.com and we develop and run Hypd App, the internal application whose name appears on the Google sign-in screen when you connect a Google account to us.

Hypd is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question, request, or complaint, write to hello@stayhypd.com. A person reads that inbox and we answer privacy requests within 30 days.

Section 2

What Google user data Hypd App accesses

Hypd Apponly reaches your Google account after you complete Google's own consent screen and approve the access. We request the smallest set of permissions that lets the audit work. The full list is below, in plain language. We request nothing else.

Google Search Console

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters

What this lets us read

  • The list of site properties your Google account has verified.
  • Search performance data for those properties: queries, pages, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position.
  • Index coverage and URL inspection results for your own pages.
  • Sitemaps already submitted for those properties.

This scope also permits sitemap submission. Hypd App uses that ability only to submit or resubmit a sitemap for a property you already own.

Google Analytics

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly

What this lets us read

  • Read-only analytics reports for the properties your account can already see, such as sessions, traffic sources, landing pages, and conversions.

Hypd App does not read your Gmail, your contacts, your calendar, your photos, or your Google Drive files. It does not post to Google services on your behalf beyond the sitemap submission described above, and it does not change your Search Console or Analytics settings.

Section 3

Why we access it

We use this data for one purpose: automated SEO auditing, scoring, and reporting for websites the account owner already controls. In practice that means finding which queries bring people to your pages, which pages are losing position, which URLs are not indexed, and which technical problems are holding the site back — then writing that up as a report you can act on.

We do not use Google user data to build advertising profiles, to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or for any purpose unrelated to the audit and reporting you asked for. We do not use it to research your competitors on someone else's behalf.

Section 4

How it is stored and for how long

Data pulled from Google APIs is written to a local SQLite database file on operator-controlled hardware. It is not stored in a shared multi-tenant cloud database, and it is not copied to a third-party analytics warehouse.

Access to that hardware is limited to Hypdstaff who need it to run or debug an audit. Traffic between us and Google is encrypted in transit with TLS. OAuth refresh tokens are held in operator-controlled configuration, never in this website's code and never in a public repository.

Retention. We keep Google user data for as long as your connection to Hypd App is active, because each audit compares current performance against earlier snapshots and that history is the point of the report. When you revoke access or ask us to delete your data, we delete the stored Google user data within 30 days. Audit reports we already delivered to you stay in your possession; if you want our copies destroyed as well, say so and we will do that in the same 30-day window.

We do not sell Google user data. We have never sold it and selling it is not part of our business model.

Section 5

Who it is shared with

Google user data obtained through Hypd App is not sold, not rented, not traded, and not transferred to any third party. It stays on operator-controlled hardware and is used only to produce the report for the account owner who granted access.

The only exceptions are ones the law forces on us: we would disclose data if required by a valid legal process such as a court order or subpoena, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition ever happened, we would give notice before any personal information changed hands, and the successor would be bound by this policy.

Separately from Google user data, ordinary website information is handled by a small number of service providers, listed in section 8. Those providers never receive Google user data.

Section 6

Google API Services Limited Use disclosure

Required disclosure

Hypd App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice, the Limited Use requirements mean we only use your Google data to provide or improve the audit features you can see, we do not transfer it except as needed to provide those features or as required by law, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not let humans read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, to comply with the law, or on data that has been aggregated and made anonymous.

Section 7

How to revoke access and delete your data

Revoke access

You can disconnect Hypd App from your Google account at any time, without asking us first. Open your Google account permissions page, find Hypd App in the list, and remove its access.

myaccount.google.com/permissions

Request deletion

Revoking access stops new data from being collected but does not erase what we already hold. To have that deleted, email us from the address tied to the Google account and write "delete my data" in the subject line. We confirm in writing and complete deletion within 30 days.

Section 8

Information this website collects

This section covers stayhypd.com itself and is separate from the Google user data described above. The two are never mixed.

  • Information you submit

When you send a contact or audit request we receive your name, email address, business name, website, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to answer you and to prepare the audit you asked for.

  • Anti-spam signals

We record the IP address and basic request signals of form submissions so we can block automated spam. These signals are used for abuse prevention only.

  • Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand which pages people read. These tools set or read identifiers and collect approximate location, device, and referral data. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

  • Hosting and delivery

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs including IP address and user agent as part of serving and protecting the site.

  • Storage and email

Form submissions are stored in Supabase and sent to us by email through Mailgun. Both act as processors on our instructions.

We keep contact and audit submissions for as long as we have an active or prospective working relationship with you, and we delete them on request. We do not sell website visitor information either.

Section 9

Children

Our services are built for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age of consent. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email hello@stayhypd.com and we will delete it.

Section 10

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you the rights below. We extend all of them to everyone who contacts us, regardless of location, because running two standards is harder than running one.

Access and portability

Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.

Correction

Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Deletion

Ask us to delete your personal information and any Google user data we hold for you.

Withdraw consent

Revoke Hypd App's access to your Google account at any time, without affecting work already completed.

Opt out of sale or sharing

We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will confirm that in writing on request.

Non-discrimination

We will not deny service, change pricing, or reduce quality because you exercised a privacy right.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing Google user data is your consent, given on Google's consent screen and withdrawable at any time. Our legal basis for answering your enquiries and preventing spam is our legitimate interest in running the business. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If we transfer data to the United States, it is because that is where our operator hardware and our processors are located.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA). In the past 12 months we have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not process personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise any right above by emailing us; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

To exercise any right, email hello@stayhypd.com. We may ask you to verify that you control the account in question before we act, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

Section 11

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle Google user data or personal information, we will give notice by email to affected account owners before it takes effect.
