A structured AI prompt system for building every brand asset from scratch — logo, brand guidelines, offline collateral, social media posters, website UI, and mobile app — using a single reusable formula.
This guide is reviewed for clarity, service accuracy, and AI-search readability. The next quarterly content review is tracked internally before unsupported metrics or client proof are added.
What this system produces
A complete brand kit, generated by AI, using a single reusable prompt formula across every asset type.
Most AI-generated brand work falls apart at consistency. You get a decent logo prompt, then a social media poster that ignores the logo colours, then a website mockup that doesn't match either. This system solves that by defining the brand identity upfront in one formula and plugging it into every subsequent prompt.
The output covers: logo, brand guideline document, offline collateral (business cards, letterhead, signage), social media poster system, Facebook banner, website homepage UI, and mobile app UI.
Step 1: Define the brand foundation
Before running any visual prompts, document five things. Everything downstream references these.
- Brand name — the exact text that appears in the logo wordmark and on all assets
- Core idea — what the brand does and for whom, in one sentence
- Tone — four to six adjectives that describe the brand's personality
- Visual style — the design language: colour base, accent colour, overall aesthetic
- Tagline system — two to three tagline options that can rotate across assets
The universal prompt formula
This is the core of the system. Paste it at the start of every brand asset prompt. Replace only the bracketed fields. Every asset you generate after this will reference the same logo, same colours, and same design direction.
promptCreate a [ASSET TYPE] for the travel brand "[BRAND NAME]". Use the uploaded [BRAND NAME] logo exactly as reference. Do not change the logo shape, icon, wordmark, spacing, proportions, or typography. Brand colors: [PRIMARY HEX], [ACCENT HEX], [WHITE HEX], [LIGHT GRAY HEX], [DARK HEX]. Design style: [DESCRIBE THE VISUAL LANGUAGE — e.g. premium modern startup, cinematic, clean, bold typography, glassmorphism panels, lots of negative space, sharp alignment]. Content: [HEADLINE], [SUBTEXT], [KEY DETAILS], [CTA], [CONTACT DETAILS]. Composition: [ASPECT RATIO], [MAIN VISUAL], [PLACEMENT RULES], [NEGATIVE SPACE RULE]. Avoid: clutter, random colors, cheap look, distorted logo, unreadable text, cartoon icons, heavy borders, low-resolution visuals. Final output: high-resolution, polished, Behance-level brand asset.
Prompt: Logo
Run this first. Upload the output as the logo reference image for every subsequent prompt.
promptCreate a minimal premium logo for "[BRAND NAME]". Design a bold [DESCRIBE ICON]. Pair it with clean lowercase wordmark typography: "[brand name]". Style: modern, flat vector, clean, scalable, strong silhouette, startup-style, memorable, premium, no gradients, no shadows, no 3D. Color: black logo on pure white background. Logo should work for: app icon, website header, social profile, documents, tags, banners, and office signage. Aspect ratio 1:1 or horizontal lockup, clean white background.
Prompt: Brand guideline document
Generates a complete brand guideline board: logo variations, clear space, colour palette, typography, iconography, incorrect usage, brand applications, voice, and visual mood.
promptCreate a complete professional brand guideline presentation for "[BRAND NAME]". Use the uploaded [BRAND NAME] logo exactly as reference. Keep the logo on a clean white background. Do not change the logo shape, icon, typography, proportions, spacing, or orientation. Create one complete brand guideline board containing: cover, logo variations, clear space, minimum size, color palette, typography, iconography, incorrect logo usage, brand applications, brand voice, and visual mood. Color palette: [PRIMARY HEX], [ACCENT HEX], [LIGHT GRAY HEX], [DARK HEX], [WHITE HEX]. Typography: [FONT FAMILY]. Show Heading 1 Bold, Heading 2 SemiBold, Heading 3 Medium, Body Regular. Icon style: minimal line icons for [LIST 8-10 RELEVANT ICONS]. Layout: 3:4 vertical board, white background, thin grid lines, [TEXT COLOR] typography, [ACCENT COLOR] numbers and accents, lots of negative space, premium Behance brand identity case-study style.
Prompt: Social media poster system
A reusable poster prompt. Fill in the content fields, keep the design direction section identical across all posters — that's what makes the grid look coherent.
promptCreate a premium social media poster for "[BRAND NAME]". Use a full-bleed cinematic background image of [SUBJECT/LOCATION]. Add [DESCRIBE OVERLAY ELEMENTS — e.g. large elegant typography, glassmorphism card, accent-color line, price badge, inclusions strip, footer contact details]. Logo: [BRAND NAME] logo top-right, unchanged. Content: [HEADLINE]: [YOUR HEADLINE] [SUBLINE]: [YOUR SUBLINE] [OPTION 1]: [DETAILS] [OPTION 2]: [DETAILS] [BADGE TEXT]: [TEXT] [PRICE]: [FROM PRICE] [INCLUSIONS]: [LIST] [FOOTER]: [PHONE] | [EMAIL] | [WEBSITE] Style: premium Behance campaign, cinematic photo, [COLOR SYSTEM] brand system, dark transparent glass panels, readable typography, strong negative space from all sides. Aspect ratio 3:4.
Prompt: Website homepage UI
Generates a 4K desktop homepage mockup. Use as a design spec, client presentation, or social content.
promptCreate a premium 4K desktop website homepage UI for "[BRAND NAME]". Use [BRAND NAME] logo top-left, unchanged. Header: [NAV ITEMS]. Right: [CONTACT CTA], [PRIMARY CTA BUTTON]. Hero: cinematic [HERO IMAGE DESCRIPTION]. Add dark gradient overlay. Headline: "[YOUR HEADLINE — KEY WORDS IN ACCENT COLOR]". Subtext: "[ONE-LINE BRAND PROMISE]". Buttons: "[PRIMARY CTA]" and "[SECONDARY CTA]". [FEATURE CARDS]: [4 ITEMS WITH PRICES OR DETAILS]. Bottom feature strip: [4 TRUST BADGES]. Style: clean grid, white header, glassmorphism, rounded cards, soft shadows, [COLOR SYSTEM] accents, Behance-level UI. Aspect ratio 16:9, ultra-sharp 4K.
Pre-generation quality checklist
- Logo uploaded and unchanged — the exact logo reference image is attached to every prompt that uses it
- Brand colours consistent — the same hex codes appear in every prompt, never approximated by name alone
- Strong negative space from all sides — specified in every poster and UI prompt
- Text is readable and not overcrowded — remove content until this is true before generating
- Glassmorphism cards have enough contrast — verify in generated output; re-prompt with "increase contrast on glass panels" if not
- No random colours — any deviation from the colour system produces a re-generation
- Output aspect ratio correctly specified — check before generating, not after
- Output looks like Behance-level work — if not, add "Behance-quality, polished, award-winning design" to the style section
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to upload the logo for every asset prompt? Yes, for any asset where the logo needs to appear in the output. If you generated the logo in the same session, some models will remember it — but for production use, re-upload to be certain. The instruction "use the uploaded logo exactly as reference" only works if the logo is actually attached to the message.
Can I use this for an existing brand, not just building one from scratch? Yes. Replace the logo prompt with your actual logo file, update the hex codes to your real brand colours, and update the typography section with your actual font names. The universal formula and all subsequent prompts still apply. The main benefit is that every AI-generated asset references the same brand inputs, keeping the visual system consistent across output.
What if the AI changes the logo in the output? Re-prompt with: "Keep the logo exactly as uploaded. Do not redraw, reinterpret, or alter the logo in any way — only place it as-is at [position]." If it keeps changing, switch to a higher-capability model — logo preservation requires strong instruction-following. You can also crop the logo into the generated image manually after export if the model can't reliably preserve it.
